Initial In-Home Consult $300 + $25 travel fee

Practice where you feed is the ideal setting for a feeding consultation. Initial consultation duration is 90 minutes and includes pre-visit survey, newborn oral and suck evaluation, feeding or pumping support, infant weight, and Joyous Chaos one page education PEARLS. In-home consultation available within a 30 minute radius of Sentara RMH hospital. Joyous Chaos will provide a "Superbill" for families to submit to their insurance carrier if desired. Joyous Chaos does not accept/file insurance. 

Follow up consultations are 60 minutes in duration and include feeding evaluation and support, infant weight, and question/answer session with Jamie. 

If you live outside the 30 minute radius of Sentara RMH, prefer an in-office consultation, or would like to discuss insurance options please contact Jamie with Joyous Chaos to discuss other options. Joyous Chaos works in collaboration with midwifery and pediatric practices in the Shenandoah Valley. 

We serve ALL families regardless of where you seek pediatric or obstetrical care and with your permission will provide a faxed consult note to your provider in hopes of truly providing interdisciplinary care for you and your baby.  

Every Mama needs a "phone a friend or lactation consultant" in their lives right?!?! Well this consult option is perfect for the triaging of "XYZ" issue or to talk through "how to" start pumping, wean, start bottle feeding, treat engorgement, clarify if medications are safe during breastfeeding, etc.  If the discussion is longer than 60 mins we will need to wrap up and schedule a formal consult at a future date. 

Now offering text support for established clients between the hours of 8am-8pm seven days a week for $50 per week. The week would begin at the time of the first request for communication. We all know it is priceless to "phone a friend!" I will respond to texts within 24 hrs, however if an urgent need arises please call your pediatric or obstetrical provider.
